NetSuite Integration
NetSuite integration connects Bitwage directly to Oracle NetSuite ERP for automated international payment execution and two-way reconciliation sync.
Oracle NetSuite is the world's leading cloud ERP system, used by over 37,000 companies globally for financial management, inventory, CRM, and ecommerce. For companies using NetSuite to manage accounts payable, integrating Bitwage creates a seamless procure-to-pay workflow for international contractor and vendor payments — eliminating the need to manually export payee data from NetSuite and re-enter it into a payment platform.
The Bitwage-NetSuite integration works via NetSuite's SuiteScript API and Bitwage's payment API. Configured in NetSuite, the integration maps vendor or contractor bill records to Bitwage payment instructions. When a bill is approved for payment in NetSuite, the integration automatically creates a payment instruction in Bitwage with the correct recipient, amount, and currency. After Bitwage executes and confirms the payment, settlement data flows back to NetSuite — matching against the original bill, recording the FX rate, and creating the appropriate journal entries.
For NetSuite customers with international payroll, the integration also handles multi-currency bill accounting: NetSuite records bills in the vendor's invoice currency, Bitwage handles the USD-to-foreign-currency conversion, and the integration reconciles the difference with FX gain/loss journal entries per NetSuite's multi-currency accounting standards. This eliminates one of the most time-consuming parts of international AP: manual multi-currency reconciliation.
NetSuite Integration FAQ
Common questions about netsuite integration in the context of international payments.
The integration uses NetSuite's SuiteScript API and Bitwage's payment API. Approved vendor bills in NetSuite automatically generate Bitwage payment instructions. After execution, Bitwage returns settlement confirmation and FX details — NetSuite records the payment, closes the bill, and creates multi-currency journal entries. See erp integration for the general ERP integration architecture.
Yes. NetSuite's multi-currency module records bills in the vendor's invoice currency. The Bitwage integration handles the USD conversion and returns the final FX rate for accurate journal entry creation. FX gain/loss is recorded per your NetSuite accounting policy. The fx rate lock rate is captured in the reconciliation record.
Contact Bitwage's integration team for current NetSuite connector availability and installation requirements. The integration can also be implemented via Bitwage's api with custom NetSuite SuiteScript development if a pre-built connector is not yet available for your specific NetSuite version.
